The Bastimentos Nature Preserve provides a unique and amazing experience for all travelers who want to experience the biodiversity and ecology of the Rain Forest and the surrounding coral reef. We want our guests to experience the habitat in its natural environment with as little interference as possible.
There are opportunities to volunteer during your stay at Bocas Bound that focus on helping the environment and local communities. If you are interested in performing a service project while you travel, please let one of our staff members know. This opportunities range from picking up trash on the beach to performing a service project for the local island communities in Bocas del Toro.
