Should you want to get to Red Frog aside from the schedule time, there are other boat drivers not associated with Red Frog who are available for hire. Prices varies on weather condition and number of riders on the boat.
Isla Bastimentos is located 30 miles from Costa Rica on the Caribbean side of the country. It lies 650 miles southwest from Jamaica. Most travelers arrive to Bocas del Toro town by:
1. Plane ride from Panama City or San Jose
2. Bus ride from Panama City
3. Boat ride from Changuinola or Almirante
Once you arrive in Bocas del Toro Town, approach the water front and catch a water taxi at the Chow Kai dock. The cost is approximately $5 and runs throughout the day.
