Isla Bastimentos

Isla Bastimentos (where Bocas Bound is located) is part of the Bocas del Toro archipelago and is about 20 square miles in size, making it one of the largest islands in Panama. This island can be reached only by boat, no cars on the island, and is home to native villages, the small town of Bastimentos, the National Marine Park, and is listed as a World Heritage site.

Bastimentos Town is a small community on the West side of the island, 5 minutes by boat from Bocas Town. The town consists of a few small hotels, restaurants, local government establishments, a school, and a few local night clubs.
