Many of the resorts in Bocas specialize in ecotourism.
Surfing – The islands of Bocas del Toro host many different breaks. The long tube sections can be found on Caranero, “silverbacks” is very powerful and barrels, “bluff” breaks close to the sandy beach and has some amazing spitting tubes. These islands pick up swells coming from many directions in the Caribbean so there is usually a wave to be caught somewhere in the archipelago.
